This drawing shows the top-to-bottom section through an outswing Xtend door, including the threshold and where the field-installed sweep goes. The door ships fully assembled and pre-hung.

Installation notes
The unit comes fully assembled, pre-hung with threshold attached; door hardware and sweep ship loose for field installation. Field install the provided door sweep per instructions. Apply sealant behind both side flanges, the top flange, and under the threshold. Shim the threshold to the floor or slab as necessary to keep the frame square. Notify Porch Windows Direct if installing into aluminum framing — color-matched self-tapping hex-head screws will be provided. Available left- or right-hinged.
